| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to clarify the patent activity of East Asian enterprises such as South Korea, China, and Taiwan by examining the patent grants in U. S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Recently, the discussion concerning the effectiveness of the patent application and registration activity of the enterprise is actively developed. However there are only few researches that explain the patent activities of the East Asian enterprises. It is necessary to confirm those patent activities quantitatively to the research of innovation activities of those enterprises. Because those enterprises have a lot of domination in the incremental innovation rather than the radical innovation, it is significant to consider the patent grants quantitatively, and it can partially explain the innovation strategy of those enterprises. | |||||||||
