The Cu atom is coordinated by two N atoms in the chelate site of Ph_2bpm and C=C bond of C_2H_4 in the trigonal-planar geometry. It is interesting that 1D network structures are self-assembled by an intermolecular π-π stacking interaction between a phenyl ring and a phenyl ring in the neighboring Ph_2bpm.
