Now, in the 19th year since the Immigration Control Act was revised, there is an increase in the number of South American immigrants applying for permanent residency and acquiring houses, making these permanent settlers a greater presence as citizens in the local community.  This paper focuses on the effective utilization of \"disaster prevention and disaster information\" that is a part of the information provided to residents with foreign citizenship in local communities, analyzing and identifying how information measures and services performed by the government has been disseminated to Brazilian immigrants that have increased rapidly in Japan since the 1990 revision to the Immigration Control Act, and how that information has been utilized in their lifestyles.
