Feudal rent is what is thought to have been originally collected by the lord from helotry and copyholder; however, as time passed, it came to be interpreted as a general rent in the feudal sotiety. Additionally, from a research standpoint in order to demonstrate the content of The Capital, which discusses the relationship between rent money and capitalism rent in England, we wanted to do so without any modification in the Japanese society. However, when it comes to a lord, the content and findings of the research completely varies as to whether the lord means a feudal lord or a peasant owner.
