The company made an application for establishment in August, 1881. The company planed to construct the railway along to the route of Hokuriku highway, and dispatched Mr. Mitsumi Kondo who was a member of the organizing committee to Hida area for the recruitment of stocks from February to March in 1882. The state of the recruitment of stocks was described in the record which was written by Mr. Mitsumi Kondo.
