 note = {本稿は, ジェイン・マーセットが著した経済学に関する3冊の教本のうち最後に発表した『富と貧困』(1851)について, その内容を, マーセットが手がけた様々なテーマの教本類との関連性から考察している。一連のマーセット作品群は登場人物の名前やその設定から, 個々に独立していながらもそれぞれ緩やかなつながりが認められる。そして,一見, 種類の異なる作品である印象をもたれるはずの『富と貧困』も, 実はそのつながりの延長線上にあることを, 作品を精査していく過程で明らかにしていく。　　（英文）  This paper examines Rich and Poor (1851), Jane Marcet's third and last educational work on economics, in relation to her other books in different genres. Although each of her books stands as an individual work, careful examinations will reveal some relations found among the scenes and characters in those works, through which a small fictional community is formed.
