However, considering the background, it turns out that consumer society has urged them to learn English or have the fine command of English. They try to do so, and unexpectedly there are various gaps among them. Besides, these gaps have brought us depression and the like, under the strong feeling that one must be responsible for one's selections or decisions. I suspect that selecting or leaning English only for the aim of establishing one's identity can be dangerous.
