| 内容記述 | [Abstract] The kidney plays an important role in the control of systemic blood pressure by regulating the composition of body fluid and electrolytes and by producing and releasing various vasoactive substances. Thus, normal renal function is required for the precise blood pressure control and kidney plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. Three major renal mechanisms have been proposed which lead to the development of hypertension; an increased pre-glomerular vascular resistance, a decreased whole kidney ultrafiltration and an increased tubular sodium reabsorption. This review summarizes the pathological role of renal abnormalities, with a special attention to the renal microcirculation, in the development of hypertension. | |||||||||
