MTTアッセイによりその細胞増殖抑制効果が, 非小細胞肺がん細胞株である, PC-14細胞およびドセタキセル耐性PC-14/TXT細胞において同等であることを確認した. また, その作用機序は, G2/M 期における細胞周期の停止およびアポトーシスの誘導であることが示唆された.
