Shape is an important element that determines plastic beauty and gives a large impact on people’s emotion by way of visual stimuli. This study examines the utility of shape in visual communication by reflecting on the result obtained from a questionnaire survey on impressions given by shapes that used 12 types of geometric figures and adjectives.
