Additive manufacturing (AM) technology has been dramatically attracting attention as a breakthrough technology in advanced manufacturing since 2013, and the sale of AM Systems has increased rapidly in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. The recent trend of the development of metal 3D printers, the development of the AMed functional materials and the recent applications are introduced. Also the current state of the research development in the national (TRAFAM) project and the activities in the Advanced Additive Manufacturing Center are introduced</dc:description>
