          <datacite:description xml:lang="ja" descriptionType="Abstract">本研究の目的は、歯原性腫瘍における確実な治療法選択の基準を作成し、遺伝子修復による治療の可能性を探索することであった。まずは研究に適した症例検索と検体採取が必要であったため、適宜採取を実施したが、途中長期にわたるコロナ禍のため新規受診患者の大幅な減少により時間を要した。さらに過去の症例からこれまでの経過を検索し、再発の有無についてデータを集めた。その中で、将来的に再発の恐れが指摘されている稀な歯原性腫瘍や、歯原性腫瘍の悪性化によって生じたと思われる顎骨中心性癌があり、長期的に経過を追うことができた。それらをまとめて、得られた所見については文献的考察を加えた上で、論文や学会にて発表した。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">The purpose of this study was creating criteria for reliable treatment selection for odontogenic tumors and to explore the possibility of treatment using gene therapy. First, it was necessary to find cases suitable for this study and collect specimens, so we collected samples as appropriate, but it took time due to the long-term coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, we searched past cases and collected data of recurrence. Among these, there are rare odontogenic tumors that have been pointed out to be recurrence in the future, and jawbone-centered cancers that are thought to have arisen from malignant transformation of odontogenic tumors, and whose course cannot be tracked over the long term. After summarizing these findings and considering the literature, we presented them in papers and at academic conferences.</datacite:description>
