          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">〈Abstract〉We’ve investigated the status quo as to student guidance and career guidance at high school, and we researched the vision of the future and problems to be solved. We researched the current problems regarding student guidance and the diversified way of collecting information on career guidance, conducting a questionnaire and interview. From the result of this survey, we considered how we should act in the future, and what decisions we should make in response to the questionnaire’s answers. Nowadays, children get smartphones at an earlier age than before, and also the average age of students whom teachers are required to counsel is getting lower. Due to this fact, it is assumed that the education of information ethics has to be taught practically at an earlier stage. We considered the skills in student guidance and career guidance that will be required for teachers who already have teaching licenses, as well as who will get one in the future.</datacite:description>
