Drucker Think about OR/MS? 林, 芳男 ハヤシ, ヨシオ OR/MS オペレーションズリサーチ/経営科学 経営学 P.F. ドラッカー [概要]　経営学の父ドラッカーの古い論文を掘り起こして再翻訳し, その経営科学観を眺め, 著者のこれからのOR/MSの進め方の模索をした。経営科学者はOR/MSが自前の経営学観を持たず道具箱の中の道具の開発ばかりに勤しんできたという指摘は謙虚に受け止めなければならない。しかし, 学問としてのOR/MSは, 著者の個人的見解としては, モデル思考の結果生まれるその論理的帰結は役に立つ可能性がある訳で, それは尊重され継続させるべきである。そのためには大学のような教育・研究機関はそれを支える科目とカリキュラムを維持しなければならない。成果を出せる研究者とそれを易しく啓蒙出来る伝道者を配置させることでその学問は維持される。 [Abstract] P. F. Drucker's classical paper "Potentials of Management Science" HBR, Jan. -Feb. 1959 was retranslated into Japanese in this paper in order to know how he think about OR/MS.
