長鎖脂肪酸をシグナル分子とした下垂体における性腺機能制御メカニズム Gonadal function control mechanism in the pituitary gland through long-chain fatty acids as signal molecules. 森山, 隆太郎 モリヤマ, リュウタロウ 下垂体 性腺刺激ホルモン産生細胞 脂肪酸 低栄養 性腺機能 GPR120 GnRH 生殖 研究成果の概要（和文）：本研究により長鎖脂肪酸がシグナル分子として下垂体の性腺刺激ホルモン産生細胞（ ゴナドトロフ） に直接作用することで長鎖脂肪酸受容体G-protein coupled receptor 120 (GPR120) を活性化すると同時に、性腺刺激ホルモン放出ホルモン受容体 (GnRH-R) 発現を抑制する可能性が示された。また、ゴナドトロフのGPR120 発現はエストロジェンにより制御されていることが明らかとなった。 研究成果の概要（英文）：Present study showed that long-chain fatty acids such as palmitate may directly activate long-chain fatty acid receptor, GPR120, and down-regulate the synthesis of gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptors on gonadotrophs of the mouse pituitary gland as signal molecules.
