[Abstract]Present study investigated relationships between impression evaluation and acoustic variables, and their relationship with physiological indicators, after extracting the impression evaluation dimensions of classical music pieces and sorting out the impression evaluation items, similarly to the previous report (Takayama, 2014). Using a total of 12 evaluation sounds consisting of four original sounds, their downsampling ones, and their noise-added ones, experiments on impression evaluation and electroencephalogram measurement on listening at evaluation sounds were conducted. As a result, we found that the difference of music pieces and the acoustic processing affected all the impression of "goodness of hearing", "lively motion" and "profoundness", respectively. On the other hand, the EEG indexes were not varied by the difference of music pieces or the acoustic processing. Regardless of the difference of music pieces and the type of acoustic processing, the correlation between the impression evaluation values of music pieces and the EEG indexes indicated that, as the impression of "lively motion" or "profoundness" strengthened, the α wave content rates and the values of α / β ratio decreased, while the β wave content rate increased.
