The placement of the dampers is important because the seismic performance of building depends on it. Therefore, in this paper, a method to obtain an optimum placement of response control dampers is proposed. In the present method, the optimum placement of the dampers is obtained by topology optimization method for frame structure (i.e. ground structure method). The response control dampers work for dynamic external force, but, in this method, the placement of the dampers is obtained by the optimization analysis for static external force. 内容記述 | [Abstract]Recently, response control dampers are often used for improving seismic performance of building. The placement of the dampers is important because the seismic performance of building depends on it. Therefore, in this paper, a method to obtain an optimum placement of response control dampers is proposed.
