内容記述 | I have taught basic skill music to the students, including the correspondence course, at the department of early childhood education in this college for six years, including three years as a part-time instructor. For the six years, I have recognized that each new student has different level of basic music knowledge. There are some students who studied keyboard instruments such as piano prior to entering this college and can easily complete their music assignments. However, other students never played any keyboard instruments, or cannot read music score. If I give the same class to the students, it must be difficult for every student to gain enough knowledge and skills to get kindergarten teacher's license and the qualification of nurse for two or three limited years. Therefore, I have tried utilizing private piano lessons as a music teacher. During the lessons, I always try understanding each student's music level and giving her or him proper assignments. It works for students who regularly attend the class. However, it is difficult to apply this way to the students in the correspondence course due to the limited interactions. In this study, I focus on the students in the correspondence course of early childhood education and review the new student's basic music knowledge based on her or his music experience and reading skills of music score. Through understanding each student's status, I want to consider more efficient teaching method. | |||||
