The wheat seeds were broadcasted in the different seeding rates on the well-drained experimental paddy field after the harvest and then all the surface was covered by the straws. The fowl excrements were also applied in different amounts on the test plots as a basal dressing and then the field was left alone without any agricultural practices until the wheat harvest. Among the twelve weed species grown in the field, the chinese milk vetch covered firstly on the grownd dominantly and the wheat plants made a dominant stand secondarily over the field at the time of harvest. The maximum wheat grain yield of 282 kg/10a was gained in the test plot with the seeding rate of 10 kg/10a and the fowl excrements application of 250 kg/10a in the let-alone cultivation. The total weed biomass was about 1/2 — 1/4 to those of the wheat in some of test plots.
